Ulysses

We live in Midcoast Maine- he is outside ALL year long. His favorite activity is birdwatching, finding food to eat and loving his chickens.

What does Ulysses love most about nature?

Ulysses loves spending time with people in nature. He is SO curious and bright. We feel grateful he has been exposed to outdoor education at a young, preschool age. Observing his ability to ask questions, experiment, and find little details in his environment has given him more confidence.

What is Ulysses's favorite animal—and why?

Ulysses favorite animal is a cheetah because “they go fast just like me!” A close second is a lion, but really because they are also in the cat family-we have two cats at home, Luna and Gina.

What is Ulysses's favorite outdoor activity?

We live in a four season location. Summer is all about the bugs and worms, sailing and island hopping, our chickens, the raspberry patch, being in the garden with his parents, and making food! Fall is hiking and biking in the Camden Hills state park, Winter is skiing, sledding and hot chocolate. And spring is watching the birds come back north and getting very muddy in the puddles!
