Troy loves to study the creatures that shape our world. He is an unstoppable force for wildlife, Science and our environment. With endless curiosity and a heart full of adventure, he explores the wonders of nature & studying the balance between creatures and their habitats. He loves watching birds eat from our feeder, observing ants build intricate colonies or marveling at worms enriching our soil. He understands that every animal plays a vital role in the ecosystem.
Troy’s love for animals shine through his bond with Flame, his pet cornsnake and Mister Beardie, his pet bearded dragon. These are two incredible reptiles that inspire him to protect habitats for all creatures. Whether sharing his knowledge for his pets, or wildlife, he’s a true Jr. Ranger at heart. Troy is ready to lead the next generation toward a greener future and teach them about the incredible creatures that shape our world!
Troy’s favorite outdoor activities includes: ensuring that we plant native flowers that attract birds, butterflies and bees so they are able to pollinate. He loves bird watching! We set up a bird feeder outside our picture window to make it easier to observe local bird species in their natural environment. We also have Robins and Humming birds that like to build their nest in our Japanese Maple tree. He’s also conduct bug investigations by studying ants, worms & other insects in their habitat.
