What does Onalee love most about nature?

I love nature because it holds memories. Our gardenia bush helps me remember my great grandmother Onalee. She loved smelling the gardenias in her backyard. I love being outside in the sunshine.

What is Onalee's favorite animal—and why?

Prong Horn Antelope: They are fast like me. They can out run their predators. I like how they can loose a horn and grow it right back. I love prong horn antelopes so much that I wrote a book about them. I love how they look like so many other animals.

What is Onalee's favorite outdoor activity?

I have a favorite tree that my friend and I pretend is our treehouse. We love climbing and pretending we have sticks that are caterpillars. We make fishing poles out of branches and use Spanish moss as the line. We toss our line into the bay.
