Desmond is a cub scout and loves camping and being in nature! He is greatly empathetic towards critters and follows Leave No Trace to a T.

Desmond loves to enjoy nature with his scout pack, on our camping trips and learning about the different trees and animals that we can see and hear. It is always an enjoyable quiet time to enjoy with others, while learning about the world around us. The hikes are always to new and beautiful spots, and there's something new to see each time.
Desmond loves axolotls! He first learned about them from Minecraft, but once he learned that they were a real animal, then he had to find out more about them. They are so interesting with how they are naturally pink and can transform from living underwater, to amphibious. They look really funny with the gills on the sides of their head!
His favorite activity is to go camping. We go twice a year with scouts, and sometimes a third time with family up to Wisconsin. It is great to enjoy the peace and quiet, and see great new sights with hiking trails. Now that he's getting a little older, we are looking forward to taking longer hikes on these trips, and having great smores!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
