Ava loves exploring, pushing her limits, and asking about every animal she sees. She was even saving spiders at 2 instead of squishing!

Ava loves to look at the finer details around her. How one leaf looks different then the next. This tree is a different colored bark then the last. Those two birds sound so different! What made this nest and why did it build it here? She's always questioning, always looking, always running off to engage in the next adventure on the trail!
Ava loves birds. We have an African Grey at home. She names them all, leaves out homemade bird feeders during winter, and loves to sit and watch them on the wires in the rain. Ava loves how free she thinks a bird must feel flying through the sky. Her dream is to glide through the air with them someday.
Ava is up for anything that involves water. She'll walk an entire gorge trail without leaving the watery path it leaves. She'll jump into any lake, and explore all tidal pools at the beach. Snorkeling is next on her bucket list!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
