What does Zion love most about nature?

When I asked him this question he said, “the animals, of course!” As I mentioned before, Zion loves all living things. His heart just swells for any other beating heart. He is a creature whisperer, and animals just seem to trust him and are drawn to him (which speaks volumes about Zion’s beautiful character). Zion doesn’t know a stranger when it comes to the animal world.

What is Zion's favorite animal—and why?

Zion’s favorite animal has been a raccoon since the day he turned one year old. He was gifted a stuffed raccoon that day, and they’ve been attached at the hip ever since (although, “Racky” is much flatter these days). Zion has ventured into studying more about raccoons with school projects, and he has even written his own stories with a raccoon as the main character. He relates to their mischievous/sneaky personalities as he is prone to mischievousness and sneakiness himself, all in good fun.

What is Zion's favorite outdoor activity?

Zion loves camping. The six of us (dad, mom, and the four boys) have gone on camping adventures since each of them could toddle. We’ve explored so much of the eastern Tennessee/western North Carolina/northern Georgia wilderness. Zion is a doer, and uses whatever skill set he has to get the job done which really comes in handy on our camping trips. Our plan is to discover as much of the United States as we can while we camp along the way!
