Receive Text UpdatesI love nature because it makes me feel happy. I feel happy when I hear birds in the morning and when I see a Mama moose with her babies. I also love the smell of the forest when I’m hiking and the sound of rivers and the ocean. I like swimming and exploring outside in big wild places in Alaska. I try to take care of nature when I’m outside by helping small creatures and respecting where animals live.
My favorite animal is the axolotl because it is really cute and amazing. It can regrow its arms and legs if they get hurt, which I think is incredible. They usually stay in the water their whole lives and keep their gills so they can breathe underwater, but they can become a land salamander if needed, which I think is really cool. I also think sharks are really awesome because they are so fierce, have an amazing sense of smell, and can detect blood almost a mile away!
I love exploring outside with my friends and pretending we are warrior cats protecting our territory and hunting for food. I also like learning about plants and how to use them as medicine so I can pretend to rescue my cat clan and other animals. I live at a fishing lodge in Alaska and in the summer I help guests fish by netting salmon for them. Someday I want to be a fishing guide on the Kenai river. I love building stick forts, camping, fishing, and exploring in the woods too!
