Learn MoreI love all the wildlife, most people are a little afraid of wildlife and I feel they don’t understand wildlife. People forget that this is the animals world too, habitat disruption is hurting animals. I love exploring undisturbed environments to see how the birds and animals live together and to get ideas on how we can help heal habitat that has been destroyed. I love to watch and listen to nature to learn, new sounds and discover new animals, insects and types of moss.
I can’t choose but I love reptiles. Especially crocodiles and snakes. I love crocodiles because they are masters of camouflage and sit in stealth mode patiently waiting for prey. Snakes are so beautiful I love how they feel when I hold them. I love learning how they hunt. And why their tongue has a fork in it. They are misunderstood by many people and killed out of fear. I want to show people that snakes are not a threat and we can live with them. I love all their different colours and designs
I love looking for little lizards in the garden. I love going for walks and finding shells and identifying them. I love to look for earth worms after it rains. I love finding feathers and try to identify the birds it came from. I love picking some pine needles and smelling them. I love to make bird houses and squirrel houses, and roll around in the sand at the river. I love to follow the beavers trails to see how many trees he cut down and how far he can drag them, and how he builds a channel.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
