Receive Text UpdatesWynsor’s favorite thing about nature is the endless fun it offers him. Whether he’s playing in the snow, splashing in the rain, soaking up the sun, digging in the sand, or exploring the lake, ocean, mountains, or prairies—nature is his playground. Even from the back deck, watching the northern lights dance, or in the yard raking leaves, he finds joy. Nature provides him with entertainment, wonder, and delight.
Wynsor has many favourite animals, and right now his top favourite is the Hawaiian monk seal. He saw two during a family beach walk on our recent trip to Oahu. It was fascinating for him to experience an animal in the wild so up close. They were big and powerful as they swam to shore and wiggled up the beach, yet so calm and relaxed. In a beautiful way, they brought the ocean and land together for our family, soaking in the warm sun on the sand just as we love to do.
Wynsor’s imagination comes alive in nature—playing make-believe among the trees, setting up a restaurant that serves grass, leaves, rocks, twigs, and mud. He builds forts with his siblings, ties ropes and sticks to trees for swings, and creates tiny stick homes for little creatures like ladybugs and caterpillars. In these moments, the outdoors becomes his world of wonder, where creativity, adventure, and magic unfold naturally.
