Willow spends most days outside finding new creatures, exploring the local creek bed, and reading RR so that she can protect animals.

It just feels good to play in the mud, and climb, and discover things because you’re free. My school loves nature too. We celebrate May Day at my school and make flower crowns to celebrate spring.
Willow: “ Turtles… one of my family members gave this sea turtle tracking bracelet that helps protect them. I track Tippy. I like the hawk billed sea turtle because they have a hard shell that protects them and a bird like beak. I also like how sea turtles lay their eggs, the baby sea turtles are very cute and brave as they scoot into the ocean. Now I like all kinds of turtles and tortoises because there are so many different kinds, that live in so many different environments.”
I really like swimming and climbing. That way you can cool off and play and explore. I also like going to the zoo but I like it when animals are free. Once a bear stole my Nana’s purse, but I still like bears too.
