Receive Text UpdatesWeston loves nature "because it’s full of animals and their abilities," he is fascinated by all creatures large and small, from dinosaurs to the insects. He is passionate about learning about them and their habitats . He loves just being outside in nature exploring because as he says, "there’s always something new to see or discover, and I just love it!" Lately, he has been very interested in endangered animals and conservation efforts throughout the world. His compassion is inspiring.
It all started with the dinosaurs when he was just a toddler and from there his fascination only grew. He has had many favorite animals from the black footed ferret to the axolotl. I asked him what his favorite is lately, and without hesitation he replied, that it is the the great gorilla that has his attention, for whom he admires for their strength and intelligence.
Weston loves to take night walks at our desert mountain home to see if the great horned owls are up in the big pine tree. When we are on camping trips his favorite thing to do is to take nature walks. He is often crouching to investigate the insects, plants and other interesting things we encounter along the trail. He talks long about how all of nature interacts with each other and is wise beyond his years in his love for this great big blue planet, often humbling us with his passion for it.
