What does Wesley love most about nature?

I really like being outside in nature and looking for animals. It makes me think about how God created so many different animals and how each one is unique. I enjoy watching birds, insects, and other wildlife and seeing how they live in their natural homes. One thing I think is really cool is how animals adapt to where they live. What is Wesley's favorite animal—and why?

My favorite animal is the red-eyed tree frog. I think they are really cool because of their bright red eyes and green color. Even though they have bright eyes, their green bodies help them camouflage and blend in with the leaves in the rainforest. I also like them because they can jump really high and move quickly from leaf to leaf. It’s amazing how they are adapted to live in the trees and stay safe from predators. I think red-eyed tree frogs are one of the coolest animals God created.

What is Wesley's favorite outdoor activity?

My favorite outdoor activities are hiking to water holes where I can swim and fish. I like exploring trails and seeing what animals or cool plants we might find along the way. Hiking makes it feel like an adventure. When we get to the water, I love swimming and trying to catch fish. It’s fun to be outside and enjoy the rivers and waterfalls. Being outdoors like that is one of my favorite ways to spend time in nature.
