Receive Text UpdatesThat trees give us air! Walter is only 5 but has a great appreciation for the circle of life and that just about everything has a little science to it. He wants to make the world a better place so that nature can be preserved now and forever. He’s very passionate about recycling and even won a contest at school about collecting trash and cleaning up the community.
A gecko because they’re colorful and have suction cups on their feet so they can walk on the ceiling! Specifically the rainbow gecko we saw at the local reptile expo! It’s hard to pick a favorite though when you can choose from eels that climb walls, blue ringed octopuses that are elusive but so poisonous, vaquitas that are endangered, and Tasmanian devils with their serious bite power, along with everything else in the animal kingdom.
Capturing lizards to keep as pets and hunting for bugs. Walter lives for a good rare wildlife moment like the ducks fighting in our front yard over a nest they laid, spotting a kissing bug hiding in grandpa’s flowers, or watching vultures eat the iguanas that froze in the cold weather. There isn’t a day without a new animal adventure! He loves Jeff Corwin, Mark Vins, the Kratt brothers and everyone who gets to spend their days outside with all the creatures!
