Violet’s favorite animal is a zebra! She loves their interesting stripes and the way they run around in a zig zag. A baby zebra born at our zoo made a big impression!
Violet’s favorite outdoor activity is searching for monarch caterpillar eggs in the summer. Every year we collect the eggs and watch them hatch, grow, make a chrysalis, and turn into butterflies. Violet likes to wear her monarch butterfly costume and teach the new butterflies how to fly when we release them.
