Whether he is scoping out the bugs from a fallen tree or navigating a stream, he is focused on what he can learn from the natural world around him. When he is out in the woods, his brain enjoys life, his soul smiles with each bird call and every paw print.
Toby’s favorite animal is the platypus. He dreams of seeing this marsupial up close and observing how it lives in a body that is so very different than any other animal on earth. In his everyday life, Toby seeks out toads and frogs, snakes and bugs. If his friend find a spider, he will check that it’s a good one and then let it crawl all over him.
Toby’s favorite outdoor activity is crawling through a stream picking up every rock and seeing what he can find. He will spend hours at a creek or river bed and he given the chance would sleep there too. He also enjoys fishing and mountain biking- where gets him out on the trails to places many people don’t see.
