What does Theodore love most about nature?

(Theodore) Teddy loves being outside where he can fish and watch wildlife. He gets excited seeing what lives in the water and spotting animals wherever we go. Nature makes him curious and adventurous, and he loves learning how animals live and how we can protect them.

What is Theodore's favorite animal—and why?

(Theodore) Teddy’s favorite animal is the manatee. His love for them began when he visited Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park at three years old and learned how rangers care for injured manatees that cannot return to the wild. About a month ago, while swimming in Homosassa Springs, he slipped through his inner tube and two manatees swam up beside him and nudged the tube back under him.

What is Theodore's favorite outdoor activity?

Teddy’s favorite outdoor activity is fishing and exploring outside. He loves baiting his own hook, casting his line, and seeing what he might catch. At home he enjoys riding ponies and exploring the wooded acres our family cares for, where he looks for wildlife and learns about the animals that live there. He enjoys catching caterpillars and keep and feeding them until they get through the chrysalis stage, then releasing them. To make sure that more survive. Then releasing them.
