Receive Text UpdatesSylvan loves nature and often comes to the park with his Park Ranger mom. He enjoys helping pick up litter and take care of the environment so animals stay safe. He appreciates every creature, from tiny insects to larger wildlife, and is always excited to learn their names and how they live. Sylvan’s curiosity and kindness show in the way he watches, asks questions, and treats every living thing with respect. Nature makes him feel happy, curious, and proud to help protect the world around him.
He says his favorite animal is a cat - because he loves how they purr when he loves on them. Of course, you could ask him in an hour and you might get a different answer. He especially loves to make up new animals, complete with their own habitats, sounds, diets, and behaviors! Sylvan is very detailed when he makes up a new animal and likes to tell us about it like he's on a nature show.
Sylvan loves to go on nature walks. We go on walks in our park every day, rain or shine. He loves to find treasure for his "nature collection" which is full of stones, feathers, acorns, lichen, dried flowers and more. He stuffs his pockets (or his mom's) full of treasure to compare and learn about.
