Receive Text UpdatesWhat I love most about nature is how peaceful it is. When I’m in nature I can do anything.. being creative outside with my family. Where we live is in very rural northern Californian in the mountains, I can hunt, fish, gather cultural materials for ceremonies, forage for mushrooms and see all the cool views of sunsets, wildlife and soo much more! Living where I live we experience all the seasons, currently it is Spring time here and he just had our time change, flowers are in bloom!
My favorite animal is the Bald Eagle, they are beautiful birds. They are my favorite bird because they make good medicine for our culture and my tribe uses there feathers for ceremonial purposes. In the 60’s Bald Eagles were on the verge of extinction but over time they have made a comeback and the population now exceeds 316,000 birds with over 71,000 breading pairs. How amazing they came out of near extinction!
I have lots of favorite outdoor activities hunting, fishing and playing in the snow and so many more. When I am out in the snow I have fun with my family sledding, snowball fights, campfires and enjoying being outside. My most favorite thing to do is going hunting with my dad, he is always teaching me new things and that all the meat can be used for one thing or another.
