Receive Text UpdatesStatten has been passionate about animals, nature preservation, and exploring wildlife from the time he could talk. He naturally takes on the role of educator, eagerly sharing his knowledge with both peers and adults about various animals and environmental topics. Statten loves teaching others how to care for wildlife and protect the natural world, and his enthusiasm for conservation shines in everything he does. His favorite thing about nature is protecting it.
This is tricky, there are so many animals he loves. If you have to narrow it down, it would be snakes. He owns a snake and loves their curiosity. He thinks they are beautiful creatures that are misunderstood. He teaches his peers about the beauty of snakes and how to understand the difference of venomous and non venomous snakes. He doesn’t like that people misidentify snakes and kill them, he wants to teach them the difference so snakes will not be harmed.
His favorite outdoor activity is, lifting up rocks and looking at the creatures that live underneath. He loves going to streams and looking for crawdads and salamanders. Statten is always eager to go out in the woods and look for lizards, ring neck snakes, and frogs or toads. Being outside in nature and being around all his animals friends is his favorite place to be. He also is constantly cleaning up litter everywhere he goes.
