Skyler loves studying animals life cycles, exploring the wild with us and his homeschool friends on hikes. He is a nature trailblazer, continuously engaging with wild life and showing constant curiosity towards learning about plant and animal species. He has been This way since he started to talk as we allowed him to explore sea life living in Long Beach CA. During our yearly camping trips in the mountains he’s been exploring outdoors independently, showing joy in finding unique plants and bugs
He loves reptiles (he has been obsessed with dinosaurs ever since toddler age, with dragons and snakes, and has no fear of anything! He’s been to many reptile shows where he assisted on stage with various reptiles, including an adult python. He also loves sea mammals (he finds it very fascinating as sea wild life is so vast, and no matter where he explores, there are always new species to discover if you’re in a new geographical zone). He’s been a lifelong member at Aquarium of the Pacific.
Exploring the coastal tide pools of California has to be his favorite outdoor activity, we live here and he’s always been outdoors engaging and exploring in his homeschooled life. He loves finding various creatures, show them to us and release them back in the ocean. I learned so much from him! He enjoys fishing with his dad too, as well as camping with our Homeschool friends because it gives him new locations to explore, plus he loves the morning mountain cold air like nothing else.
