Shane always mentions how peaceful it is outdoors and watches everything with enthusiasm. Caring and loving nature enough to pick up the trash left on trails. His words exactly "It has a bunch of animals to see and meet." When inside he watches & reads all about animals and places around the world to go visit them, not in captivity. He refuses zoo's and says they must be a sanctuary, like Folsom.
Shane's words: -"JAGUAR, you know that mom." -"Why?" -"The way they can hunt in stealth mode and they can hunt while swimming where other cats can't. They also have strongest cat jaw and don't have to strangle animals they just use jaw power to crush skulls." -"That all" -"They look cool and really good moms."
Catching animals and holding them, while observing them. He always gives them back to nature after his time spent with them, keeping them in their own habitat. Finding any wounded animal and being able to nurse it back to health is his all time favorite, he does his own research on what is needed to release it back to nature. Shane loves everything outdoor, from watching, helping, catching & feeding the wild to swimming across rivers, climbing trees and jumping across any barrier. Made for this.
