Receive Text UpdatesShe loves camping at Camp Easton. She is very involved with the BB guns, the painting of the rocks and sleeping in the tents. She enjoys finding all kinds of different bugs and building the water rockets. She was able to start her own fire the first time with the sticks and flint. She is very much a water baby so she loves swimming at the lake after a night in the tent.
Scarlett's favorite animal is our dog Raven. Raven has been her 'babysitter' since Scarlett was a year old. They do everything together. Raven runs beside her when Scarlett rides her bike or goes to the park. Scarlett would be lost without Raven. She is a rescue dog from the pound. Raven came from an Oklahoma kill shelter to our non-kill shelter. She had been abused and dumped in the woods to die. She was very skittish when we first got her. Scarlett took her under her wing and protects her.
Scarlett has a saucer swing in our front yard that she plays for hours on. In the summer time, she practically lives in our swimming pool. She is in it right after breakfast and doesn't get out of it until it is dark. She eats her lunch and supper out on the deck then waits her 30 minutes so she can get back in the pool. She pretty much stays outside from after breakfast to dark in the summer. Winter time only until she gets to cold to stay outside.
