What does Samuel love most about nature?

Samuel enjoys being outdoors. Learn facts about the animals he sees. He is a very happy kid specially when he finds a new creature to learn about.

What is Samuel's favorite animal—and why?

Samuel’s favorite animal is the Green Tree Phyton. He loves the fact that he has to work hard to find it at the Detroit zoo exhibit. It is bright green and with the bright green leaves in its environment you can’t even see it. The camouflage is its superpower. He wonders if its skin is smooth or bumpy.

What is Samuel's favorite outdoor activity?

Go for walks at the Detroit Zoo after school. He likes to visit the amphibian house and knows many facts about the poisonous dart frog, the life cycle of amphibians and the axolotl. He also enjoys going to his grandparents cottage on Lake Huron and to take walks on the beach. We collect rocks and look for wildlife there. We have seen a bald eagle that comes to the beach often even during the winter time.
