Learn MoreRussell loves being outside and exploring the cow field we live next to. He loves learning and reading about different animals like snakes and other reptiles. There is nothing he won’t approach and ask for a “pet please”. He is gentle and super knowledgeable about handling even for a young age. He is respectful and enjoys just observing.
I would say dogs. He has one dog named Reverend, a pit bull, who follows him around like a shadow. He’s his best friend as Russell is an only child half of the weeks. He truly enjoys reptiles and learning as much as he can about insects but his favorites would probably be his sidekick. However, our one cat had kittens recently and the six of them might fight for their right as well!
Russell played baseball and football. He is also very active with his binoculars and just generally exploring the backyard and the wealth of Tennessee. He loves creek walking when it’s summer and playing in the snow during the cold months. We talk about animals in every season, lie the frogs we hear singing in the creek in spring.
