Receive Text UpdatesRiver is lucky enough to live just 30 minutes south of Yellowstone National Park in Jackson, WY where his love and curiosity of the natural world took shape. He loves nature hikes in Teton National Park and the protected wilderness areas near our home. Some mornings we wake up with a moose on our front lawn and frequent night visits of cougars, bears, coyotes, even wolverines! However, you'll be surprised to learn that despite this incredible place we enjoy everyday,River's true love is a whale!
River's favorite animal is a whale. If you had to make him choose he would say Sperm Whales because they eat giant squid and can dive to unbelievable depths! He tracks two whales on his fahlo app almost every day! Every summer River gets to visit the east coast of the US and last summer he got his first chance to see a humpback in the wild. River is incredibly curious and invested in protecting these whales he loves so much who live so far from his home in the mountains. He also loves snakes!
One of River's favorite outdoor activities is getting out on a boat or the beach and exploring the ocean! He even has a field journal for the ocean plants and animals he finds. He also loves a good morel mushroom hunt in the mountains! His curiosity leads him on a new adventure every day. He likes to research animals he spots in the wild and find out more about them!
