What does Remy love most about nature?

Remy loves the plants and animals, the beauty of everything together in nature and the endless adventures with friends and dad. He also loves swimming in the creeks in the Sonoran desert, the little that they come around. He also enjoys a night hike every now and then to see the night life. He loves to teach others about what he’s learned and loves protecting nature and all its life.

What is Remy's favorite animal—and why?

Remys favorite animal are all kinds of bats. He loves that bats are so diverse and unique. He loves that they are mammal pollinators that fly at night and use echo location to see. His favorite type of bat is a fruit bat because of the book “stellaluna” where the main character is a young fruit bat that he relates to.

What is Remy's favorite outdoor activity?

Remys loves hiking. Getting to take a dip in some fresh winter snowmelt or monsoon rain water. Seeing any and all plants and animals, maybe getting to eat a saguaro fruit while hiking or meeting a new animal friend. For his 8th birthday he knocked out 26 miles up and down the rincon mountains of the Sonoran desert, in two days. He pushes himself to have the adventure he wants.
