Receive Text UpdatesMy son loves nature because no two places are ever the same. From forests to beaches to mountains, each part of the world offers something new to explore. He’s been lucky to experience different countries, and each one has its own kind of magic. Nature inspires his curiosity, sense of adventure, and deep appreciation for the world around him.
It’s really hard for him to pick just one favorite animal because he loves so many. Right now, he’s fascinated by sugar gliders. He thinks it’s amazing that they’re one of the only marsupials that can glide through the air to get around. He also thinks they’re incredibly cute and loves learning more about how they live.
My son’s favorite outdoor activity is spending summers with his grandparents in northern Wisconsin, where nature becomes his playground. He kayaks and paddle boats in search of loons and eagles, and spends hours swimming in the lake looking for frogs. Last summer, he even caught a catfish with his bare hands—an adventure that deepened his connection to the wild.
