What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreHe loves identifying every animal he comes across, whether it's an insect crawling on the ground, a fish swimming in the water, or a bird soaring overhead. He sorts them by where they live: water animals, flying animals, and land animals. It's like nature is one big puzzle and every creature is a piece he gets to discover!
His favorite animal is the California King Snake. It's non-venomous but tough enough to eat venomous snakes! He also loves its beautiful black blotched pattern. Every king snake looks a little different, and he thinks that's what makes them so cool to observe and care for.
He loves exploring outside and searching for animals and insects in their natural habitats. He watches how they move, where they hide and what they do. He especially enjoys birdwatching and spotting apple snails near the water. When he's not on an animal adventure, he loves riding his bike and playing soccer with his friends and family.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
