Rayden spends lots of time in the hospital. Being outdoors helps him make lasting memories that he can hold on to while he is in those dark places; facing surgeries, procedures, or hospital stays. He says nature has a soothing smell (not like a hospital), and being outside makes him feel FREE! He has a unique way of exploring the woods, swamp, and fields. He has an all terrain track chair. This breaks his physical boundaries allowing him the freedom to fish, hunt, or just explore nature.
Rayden’s favorite animal is a wild turkey. They have super soft feathers. Each one is unique with variations of beautiful colors when they spread out their tail fan. The Tom turkeys gobble is so loud it vibrates in your chest!
Rayden enjoys everything about the outdoors but his favorite thing is the wildlife. Watching the fox squirrels frolic across our front yard looking for pecans has become a morning ritual. He loves to spend a crisp, cool morning in a hunting blind observing animals or a warm, sunny day fishing by the pond.
