Receive Text UpdatesWhat Poppy loves most about nature is the animals. She is fascinated by how different species live, what they eat, and how they survive in the wild. She spends her time reading about animals, watching nature videos, and exploring outside to see what creatures she can find.
Poppy’s favourite animal is the blobfish because she thinks they look really silly. She first learned about them while watching animal videos and thought it was funny how different they look compared to other fish. What she finds most interesting is that blobfish actually look more normal when they are deep in the ocean, but when they are brought to the surface the change in pressure makes them look squishy and droopy.She loves learning facts like that because it shows how animals adapt.
Poppy loves hiking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors, but her favourite activity is going down to the riverbank in front of our home. She loves picking rocks, catching frogs, and looking for tiny fish hiding along the shore. She can spend hours there discovering new creatures and observing nature.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
