What is Jr. Ranger?

We've been working on 're-wilding' parts of our yard and while she's not into plants or insects, she has enjoyed learning about how native plants support insects, especially caterpillars, that support the birds and so on. Or how the seeds feed the mice, which then feed the raptors. She very much loves seeing our backyard food chain in action.
She always says she loves all animals but she does have a particular fondness for the large cat family. She has recently become enamored with the Clouded Leporard because of its unique fur pattern, extra long tail and it's amazing climbing skills.
Searching for animals. She loves to go out with binoculars and search for birds, especially raptors, or lifting rocks and logs to find salamanders, frogs and snakes. We've been working on removing grass and planting natives and she also loves watching all of the bees, butterflies and birds.
