Receive Text UpdatesNature is so beautiful and it feels like an adventure every day. She loves going snorkeling and swimming with the fish. When we lived in Costa Rica, she could feed monkeys from our porch every day. She also loves exploring the jungle and catching pythons with her dad and hiking with her mom and spotting dart frogs.
Her favorite animal is a whitefaced capuchin monkey because they are so fascinating and really cool. She thinks they are amazing because they travel with their families. At our house in Costa Rica, they loved fruit. We used to feed them bananas, and sometimes they would even jump on her head. Piper also thinks it’s really cool that they clean themselves with limes. They rub the limes on their fur like soap. It’s funny and interesting to watch.
Pipers favorite outdoor activity is catching lizards. Sometimes she lets them bite her finger. It doesn’t hurt and she thinks it’s really cool. She also loves surfing. From Piper: “When I first started surfing, I always got water in my nose. But I kept practicing and practicing and practicing. After a while I got better and better, and one time I almost caught a huge wave that was about three times my size! Being outside and doing these things makes me feel happy and brave.”
