What does Pierce love most about nature?

I love to help animals. Once an owl was injured in our yard. We collected it and took it to the Audubon rescue. When the owl was healthy they returned the owl to our home and let us help release her. I enjoy rock & sea glass hunting.

What is Pierce's favorite animal—and why?

I have two animals I love. The Aye aye and the penguin. The Aye aye is so unique. It’s very endangered. It resembles many different animals ( a bat, rat, lemur, monkey). I think their big eyes are so cute. I’ve been able to meet several penguins. They have the funniest personalities and feel so soft. They make different sounds. There are 18 different species of penguins.

What is Pierce's favorite outdoor activity?

I enjoy camping, swimming, geo caching, and playing with my zoo. Dogs, cats, parrots, and a leopard gecko. We also have a small garden. I love to collect all the potatoes and veggies. I could spend hours in the strawberry fields picking and eating the fruit.
