Receive Text UpdatesOwen loves to explore, learn, and fully experience nature—especially animals. His curiosity is contagious, and he dives into every discovery with excitement and confidence. For his 5th birthday, he asked for a reptile expert to come teach him and his friends about insects and reptiles which has now led to a 4 year long tradition. We now have raised chicks, monarchs, & preying mantis. What started as his passion quickly spread, turning into a neighborhood-wide love of animals and outdoors.
Owen’s favorite animals are the hognose snake and the Boa imperator because he loves to hold them and thinks they are beautiful and fascinating. He enjoys learning how hognose snakes play dead to stay safe and how boas are strong but gentle constrictors. Owen spends time reading about reptiles, visiting nature centers, and sharing cool animal facts with friends. His curiosity and respect for wildlife make him a great future Junior Ranger.
Owen’s favorite outdoor activity is hiking. He loves searching for snakes and discovering cool bugs along the trail. He cares deeply about nature and will go out of his way to pick up trash on adventures, protect animals from harm, and makes earth safe daily choices like saving water and recycling. Owen enjoys exploring, learning, and helping keep the outdoors safe for wildlife, making him a great example of what a Junior Ranger should be.
