He has cared for our animals since he was tiny. Cows,chickens,kitties. He loves them all & understands why having them & caring for them is important work. He loves identifying trees & birds in our immediate environment & seeing the differences in other environments when we travel. Always observant. Always curious
Oliver is a sweet and sensitive boy. Gentle with his peers and personable. Domestic animals, it would be the cat. As a child, he said he would be a “cat tamer” when he grew up. I think he has a special instinctual connection with them. In the wild, he has always been extremely fascinated by owls. He loves their beauty and their flight and hunting abilities. And Pandas, always the pandas!
He loves fishing & hiking! He’s been reading trail maps since he was 2! This past summer we traveled across the US in a 1931 Ford model A. We traveled 6,000 miles, hit 9 national parks and 3 national sites. At each park, he collected his JR Ranger badge after learning about the park & completing activities specific to the park. He was so proud to complete this at each park and to be a steward of the environment. Hiking and camping Zion, Bryce and Sand Dunes were his favorite!
