Receive Text UpdatesNova loves discovering wildlife around us in Appalachia and is always the first to spot animals and point them out. She enjoys smelling flowers and noticing details others miss. She’s especially curious about how things work and wants to learn what’s inside animals—their bones, muscles, and more. She loves exploring with binoculars and using a microscope to take a closer look.
Nova doesn’t really have just one favorite animal—she loves every animal she meets. Right now, she’s especially wishing for a pony because she wants an animal she can ride, and she’s also excited about getting a cow so she can learn to milk it, but that could change tomorrow. Her curiosity and love for animals are always growing, and each new animal quickly becomes her favorite.
Nova’s favorite activity is exploring the creek—throwing stones into the water, trying to catch minnows, and testing herself to ford across and climb the embankment. She loves outdoor adventures and getting a little messy while discovering nature up close. When she’s not adventuring, she enjoys helping butterflies, frogs, and bugs if they get stuck, always wanting to care for the tiny creatures around her.
