Receive Text UpdatesNora loves so many things about nature. From catching fireflies in June, to watching the geese fly south in the fall, Nora is always asking questions about the world around her. She loves learning about the weather and how it makes everything grow, where it goes, etc. She also loves learning about the life cycles of all birds, their habitats and what they like to eat. She has 3 bird feeders and one hummingbird feeder that she tends to weekly.
Hands down, Nora’s favorite animal is a duck. Her favorite is a white call duck, with mallards and runner ducks close behind. She thinks they’re funny, smart and brave, just like her. She also loves every type of bird, especially the chickadee (“chick-a-lee-dee”). She loves birds because they’re beautiful and small.
Nora loves to play in the water, local streams or her kiddie pool. She also likes to draw with chalk, blow bubbles and pick wildflowers. Her favorite weather is warm rainy days; she likes to put her wellies and rain jacket on and splash in the puddles, often stopping to save worms from the water.
