What does Nickelle love most about nature?

Right now Nickelle loves learning about plants & it support of plant-eating animals. She is fascinated about ecosystems - everyone plays a part in it - no matter how big or small an organism is. Her love started for lizards & axolotl because even those most different - need love too. She loves learning facts about nature events - a recent active volcanic eruption affects wildlife in our communities. She gets out in the backyard & rinses volcanic ash off plants for the caterpillars/butterflies.

What is Nickelle's favorite animal—and why?

Nickelle’s favorite animal is an axolotl. It’s her favorite because they are unique creatures with their gills and tail. It’s cool how they can regrow parts of their body like its leg. Axolotl can grow their heart too and other organs which no one can do! It lives in the water and a good swimmer. The cutest thing I like best about axolotl is its frilly gills on the side of its face and it looks like it has a smiley face. It is a special animal, it can breathe in air in more ways than one.

What is Nickelle's favorite outdoor activity?

Nickelle’s fave outdoor activity is visiting the zoo & exploring Volcano Park. She’s obsessed with learning about animals, plants, & how they live together. She loves to look in gardens & find inhabitants who live there(organisms). She focused on expanding our own garden to repopulate butterflies & bees with flowers. She likes going on adventures with her dog & explore new places together. She loves to paint bird houses to give birds places to live in our community & make butterfly rest spots.
