What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreNature really suits Neil. The moment he’s outside, he seems completely in his element. Give him a stick and a puddle and pure joy usually turns into mud within minutes. Add a few rocks and leaves, and you might mistake him for another little creature of nature. It’s clear the feeling between Neil and nature is mutual.
Neil doesn’t have just one favorite animal. He loves insects of all kinds. Spiders, ants, ladybugs, roly-poly bugs and many others are always welcome in his tiny world. He happily watches them, plays with them, invites them to race his toy cars, try his food, and sometimes even offers them a place to sleep in his bed. He isn’t afraid of them at all, maybe because they’re almost always nearby and almost always willing to join his games.
My son loves outdoor adventures: running, climbing trees, and exploring every trail. He steps into streams with his boots to test the depth, makes huge splashes, lifts heavy rocks or logs to show how strong he is, and looks underneath them along the way. He’s usually so eager to investigate everything that I often end up running just to keep up with him.
