What does Natalie love most about nature?

What I love most about nature is playing outside and using my imagination. I like making pretend games like stone soup where I collect rocks, sticks, and leaves to make my own recipe. Nature is my playground, and I can turn anything into a part of a story. I feel happy and free when I’m outside and I love exploring. Playing in nature makes every day feel like a fun adventure.

What is Natalie's favorite animal—and why?

My favourite animal is a bear because I am in the Bear Cub kindergarten class at school and it makes me feel connected to them. I love bears because they are big and strong, but also gentle. They live in forests and mountains, which I think is beautiful. I live in North Vancouver where bears can be found. Bears take care of their cubs and are close to nature which I really like because I love being outside. I think bears are amazing and special animals.

What is Natalie's favorite outdoor activity?

My favourite outdoor activity is biking because I love going fast and feeling the wind on my face. I like riding my bike to the park and on trails around my house with my family. It makes me feel happy and free. I learned to bike when I was 3 years old and my parents were so happy and proud. Sometimes I pretend I am racing or going on a big adventure, which makes it even more fun. I like getting better at biking and being strong. Biking outside is my favourite thing to do.
