Learn MoreDiscovering new places. Identifying plants, insects and animals. Climbing trees is one of her favorite activities along with exploring the creek and going swimming. She is most happy and calm when she is able to problem solve, create and free play in nature. Throughout the emotional challenges she has faced losing her father, nature has become her sanctuary.
Foxes because they’re cute, mischievous, playful, fast and make cool sounds. We’ve had a few very intimate encounters with hungry foxes coming to steal our chickens and us chasing them into the meadow. Another time we saw a fox just 3 yards from us while walking in the woods, he was happily eating and seemed to say hello when he looked up at us. Once we met a female fox that had been rescued from a fur factory and learned that their tail fur is very reliable in predicting the weather for winter!
Climbing trees to get a good view and swimming to see how long she can hold her breath. She has always loved to challenge herself and one of the most thrilling challenges for her has always been climbing. She used to climb the moldings on the doorways to the ceiling since she was eighteen months old. Water and woodland adventures are the best, just the chance to be in an outdoor environment that promotes calm and creativity is so necessary in today’s fast paced world. Naraya thrives in nature.
