What does Mira love most about nature?

She loves that it makes her feel happy and calm. She loves exploring and finding "cool stuff" that she's never seen before—like colorful fungi or new animals. She goes out of her way to pick up litter because she doesn't want people or animals to get sick, and wants to protect her home from yucky trash.

What is Mira's favorite animal—and why?

Her most favorite animal is a flamingo because it's pink and makes funny squawking sounds. Her favorite animal in our area is the green anole because they change from green to brown and sometimes pink on its throat!

What is Mira's favorite outdoor activity?

Her favorite outdoor activity is adventuring through our wetlands. She puts on her waders and explores the streams and muddy islands looking for fungi, toads, snakes, and lizards. She hopes to one day find an indigo snake because she loves that they eat venomous snakes.
