What does Mira love most about nature?

Mira loves how things change throughout the year in nature. For example, she thinks it’s amazing to watch the flowers bloom in spring and leaves change colors in the fall. Nature responds to the climate and resources around it, which she finds amazing.

What is Mira's favorite animal—and why?

Mira’s favorite animal is a sloth! She love sloths because they are cute and so interesting to watch move and eat. She has been fortunate enough to see a mom and baby sloth at a keep talk at a zoo, and talks all the time about how amazing it was watching the mom slowly climb along a rope and eat treats while the baby hung out on its mom’s stomach. Mira also likes sloths because she likes to say she is a human sloth (she does a lot of things, especially eating, very slowly).

What is Mira's favorite outdoor activity?

Mira love’s observing the animals in nature. She loves going to her grandparents house, where there is an amazing backyard that the birds absolutely love, and watching many different species of birds around the backyard. She loves going to the beach, and looking for dolphins swimming by, pelicans fishing, and sandpipers running around the beach. She even loves just sitting in our backyard watching the squirrels!
