Receive Text UpdatesMichael loves to observe all kinds of animals, ranging from marine life to insects, and everything in between. He enjoys learning about their habitats and unique traits and abilities. Michael lights up when he learns something new and can share it with others. His absolute favorite game is to name animal facts and have others guess what animal he’s thinking. He gets so excited when it’s his turn to guess too!
His favorite animals are turtles! Michael loves that they are distant relatives of dinosaurs and are like ankylosaurus with their hard exteriors. Plus, turtles live on land and bodies of water, best of both worlds! Michael has 2 pet turtles, Cuter, a red foot tortoise and Jr. Cuter, a slider.
Michael enjoys hiking and exploring with his dad. His favorite part of hiking is searching for the nearby wildlife. Michael know it’s important to be an observer of wildlife and their surroundings and not a participant- but there is nothing more exciting to him than an opportunity to see animals up close and interactions at a wildlife refuge.
