What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreMy son loves to connect and be one with the outdoors. From camping and hiking, to exploring and learning all about the outdoors. His love for nature comes from finding baby squirrels that lost their nest due to a storm. He is so gentle and caring. Nature is his happy place. The place where he goes to be connected to the world in ways you cant find anymore.
His favorite animal is raccoons. He had the opportunity to care for an 8 day old baby raccoon (feeding and stimulating) for 3 days while we waited on a rehabber to have space. He grew such a connection with the wild animal.
His favorite outdoor activity is camping. He had the opportunity to learn about the plants and animals that are native to the camping location we pick every year. Learning what you can and cant do in order to survive with the bare minimum essentials.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
