Whether he’s turning over rocks, watching bugs, collecting leaves or picking up to keep it clean, he’s eager to discover all it offers. His excitement grows with every treasure he finds and he views the outdoors with a sense of magical wonder.
His favorite animal is a axolotl because he loves how fascinating and unique they are. He thinks it’s amazing how thy can regrow their own limbs and that they look like they are always smiling. Their frilly gills and gentle movements make them feel like magical tiny underwater dragons.
Micah’s favorite outdoor activity is growing food and plants. He loves to get his hands in the dirt, planting tiny seeds, watering/feeding, and checking daily to see how much they grow. Watching his plants and flower sprouts turn into vegetables and flowers fills him with pride. This year he is excited to have a roadside stand offering free vegetables to our community.
