Receive Text UpdatesMax loves diving into and getting his hands dirty in nature! He says it’s the ultimate classroom and it has a way of teaching him about himself and God! Max is usually found outdoors building in the woods, finding cool rocks, fishing, jumping in a lake, building a snow fort, and asking interesting questions about nature…which often results in him pursuing a good ole google search to find all the answers!
Max says his favorite animal is the Peregrine falcon. Max himself operates at super speed so he can appreciate the amazing speeds the peregrine falcon can travel. He reminds us that the peregrine falcon can fly at speeds over 200mph! Max says it’s the unsuspecting speed demon of the sky! He did a 5th grade classroom project learning more about the peregrine falcon’s physical features and characteristics which made him appreciate it all the more.
Max just really loves being outdoors (especially the winter months in MN), but when asked to pick just one, he says his favorite outdoor activity is fishing. He loves the unknown of what kind of fish he will catch and also just being on a peaceful lake on a summer day! He recently decided to focus on keeping our lakes clean and built his own fishing line recycling container to put near the lake access. He plans to maintain it and recycle all the used line that is placed there!
