Receive Text UpdatesMateo has a deep love for nature, wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes. Each year, we RV camp 3–5 times across national and state parks, where he thrives exploring trails and discovering the outdoors. His favorite destinations include Palo Duro Canyon State Park and Big Bend National Park. He is especially fascinated by the night sky, often pausing to admire its beauty and wonder. His curiosity and appreciation for nature make him a strong candidate.
Mateo has a genuine love for animals of all kinds. He enjoys visiting petting zoos when they come to his school and looks forward to choosing which animals he can interact with. Recently, he was especially excited to meet a pig and a snake, though he was unable to touch the snake and felt disappointed. Still, he remains curious and enthusiastic, with dogs holding a special place as his favorite animals.
Mateo is highly active and passionate about sports, with a full schedule over the next few weeks through the end of June including basketball, soccer, baseball, football, and more. Beyond organized sports, he also shows incredible motivation during our RV trips, often waking up early to hit the trails. Even when others are tired, he is eager to explore, always checking trail distance, mileage, and difficulty levels with excitement and curiosity.
