Receive Text UpdatesBecause Matai is from a big family, we spend majority of our time outdoors. We live in Montana where lakes, waterfalls, rivers and natural waters run wild. So swimming in the summers and fishing take up our days. When the sun goes down you can find Matai and his brothers still in the water or exploring outside. He also loves riding bikes and sports. He is a natural leader and an amazing big brother.
Matai’s favorite animal is a turtle. When he was 2 years old we found a turtle with a broken shell and took it to someone who could help it. Since then he has loved them. He has turtle key chains on his back back, turtle stuffed animals. He loves how they can live a long time, how they can hide in their shells and of course how they love the water just like he does.
Swimming and fishing are Matai’s favorite thing to do. He swam before he could walk. He is a strong swimmer. If he isnt in the water swimming(even on cold days he will be in a lake or river swimming) then you can find him on the shores fishing. He catches and releases. He has a list of dream fish he would love to catch. His dream is to live by the ocean where turtles lay their eggs.
