This especially rings true since Margo was diagnosed with Leukemia. The past year her life has revolved around hospital stays and doctor’s appointments. Even when she lost the ability to walk it only served to increase her appreciation of nature, and her resolution to the care and preservation of nature.
When asked what animal is her favorite among her long list of favorites, she would have to choose koalas. Learning about Koalas and the conservation efforts of others was what originally inspired her to grow up to become a conservationist herself. Through that love of koalas she has branched out and strived to learn about many other animals in our world and further learn about our planet through conservation efforts worldwide.
Margo loves to frequent local farms and equine facilities to feed goats, sheep, chickens, bunnies, tortoises, and horses. Getting to brush the horses and then go for a horse ride is her favorite activity during these outings.
